Tired of Vision Boards? Here's a Powerful New Way to Visualize Your Future
Becoming Board has changed how I approach goal setting.
Let’s be honest: traditional vision boards never worked for me.
Every December, I’d create my vision board, add my goals, and then... nothing.
I'd forget about it, and those shiny dreams would just gather dust. Sound familiar? Recently, I came across a new approach called 'Becoming Board,' and it’s changed the way I approach goal setting. (Watch the video about it on Karin’s YouTube Channel.)
What's a Becoming Board?
Unlike traditional vision boards that showcase glamorous end goals (hello, beach vacation, photos of money and celebrities, etc), a Becoming Board focuses on who you need to become to achieve those dreams.
It's not about the destination. It's about the journey and the person you'll transform into.
“If you believe you can change- if you make it a habit- the change becomes real.”

How to Create Your Becoming Board
Step 1: Meet Your Future Self
Grab a notebook and start writing: "Andi 2.0 is..." (Use your name, not mine 😊)
What are her daily habits?
How does she spend her mornings?
What skills has she developed?
What boundaries does she maintain?
This isn't about fantasy. It's about practical transformation.
Step 2: Design Your Visual Roadmap
Open Canva and create a board that represents your daily life as your future self. Include:
Images of morning routines
Workspace setup
Learning environments
Small, consistent actions
Pro tip: Focus on the process, not just the outcome.
Why This Works
Traditional visualization fails because it's passive. A Becoming Board is active. It's a blueprint for daily evolution.
You're not just dreaming. You're becoming.
I'd love to share my Becoming Board with you – but shh, it's our secret 🤫
What you see now is Andi 2.0 who
Regularly connects with and supports a vibrant community of smart, inspiring women.
Shows up daily online, doing her makeup and sharing behind-the-scenes moments to connect, motivate, and inspire others.
Journals every morning, reflecting and planning with the intention of shaping the life and business she desires.
Focuses deeply on what matters, pouring all her energy into one thing at a time.
Speaks English every day and enjoys using it to connect with the world.
Takes daily walks, choosing reflection and growth over mindless scrolling, while enjoying books.
Bakes as a ritual, turning the process of creating into a meditative act of self-expression and care.
These are just a few points from my list.
Why does it matter to you as a creative entrepreneur?
As a creative entrepreneur, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle—the constant pressure to post more, be everywhere, and follow every trend. But true success comes from building a sustainable approach that aligns with who we are.
When we set boundaries, prioritize self-awareness, and create habits that recharge us, we allow ourselves to show up authentically. Social media should fuel our creativity, not drain it.
A Becoming Board is a tool that helps us stay grounded in who we want to become, not just what we want to achieve, keeping us aligned and energized for the long-term journey of entrepreneurship.

I really like Andi 1.0, and I’d love to get to know Andi 2.0 ☺️
I love this approach... I never used vision boards but my my goal setting process is similar. It's not just about the end result it's also who you become. And the journey is worth it 💫
